A Proven Template for Marketers
How to Use This Formula
Whether you’re recording a quick video for social media, writing an email to your list, crafting a blog post, or introducing a new opportunity to a prospect, when you need to introduce yourself and what you do, this formula is your starting point.
Think of it as your personal blueprint. Instead of staring at zero wondering where to begin, you now have a proven structure to follow every single time.
The goal is not to overwhelm or oversell. Instead, you want to spark enough curiosity that people and ask you for more information. When done right, this formula positions you in a way that makes people want to raise their hand and say “tell me more,” and that is always more powerful than chasing anyone down.
Simply fill in your story, speak to your audience, and let the formula do the heavy lifting.
TIP: You can be on camera, or NOW you can use AI to create an Avatar of you that does all the speaking, every, single, time.
The best part? You write it once and adapt it everywhere. Your core story stays the same, only the platform changes.
Use the same Business Introduction Formula for every business.
HERE’S THE FORMULA:
1. Lead With Who You Are
Start with a single, clear line that anchors your identity.
“[Hi, I’m John, former [job/role] turned [what you do now] after [a turning point or reason].”
This instantly tells people where you came from and creates curiosity about how you got here.
2. Speak Directly to Your Audience
Before they care about you, they need to feel seen. Call out exactly who you’re talking to.
“If you’re tired of [specific pain point]… this is for you.”
Be specific. Speak to their frustrations, their desires, and the life they’re trying to build.
3. Tell Your Story
Share the journey, the struggle, the search… the moment things changed. Keep it real and relatable.
“For years I searched for [solution]… then I discovered [what changed everything].”
People follow people they know, like, and trust. Your story is what builds that connection.
4. Introduce the Solution
Now introduce what you’re sharing and why it works.
“I found something that [does X] and I’ve been doing it for [X years/months]…”
Credibility comes from lived experience, not hype.
5. Show the Possibility
Paint the picture of what life looks like on the other side.
“Now I [specific result or lifestyle benefit]… and I want to show you how.”
Let them see themselves in your outcome.
6. The Invitation
End with a clear, low-pressure next step.
“If this resonates with you, [click, comment, message me, watch this video, etc.]”
